Well, we heard from Oren just now – at 9 p.m. Israel time – and everyone is “really good, getting to know each other, and in good spirits.”

The group had their first session today with Israeli photographer Zion Ozeri.

Oren said it was, “awesome.

“He showed us some of his pictures, told us some basics about how to read a picture, look at a picture, take one. Then, he sent us out into the streets, we took and then analyzed our pictures.”

Ozeri is going to meet up with the teens later in the trip to follow up and critique, help them take  more interesting photos.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS:

• Independence Hall – “it was very cool!”
• Akko – “We made a pit stop there and checked out the amazing view”

Right now – the teens are waiting for an IDF representative to come and brief them ahead of their army base experience, gadna.
