“Today was really cool!” was the first thing Oren said when he got on the phone with us today. The group went all over the northern border – east and west. They were briefed by a number of Israeli experts today, dialoguing about the Arab-Israeli conflict and the importance of the Golan.

During their visit to the Golan they saw the view from Mount Ben Tal and then stopped by an area kibbutz for pizza and pasta.

Finally, they went rafting on the Jordan River.

“We all splashed each other … it was so much fun,” Oren said.

At 2:30 p.m. EST, the teens arrived at Kibbutz Ha’On where they will be staying the night. The kibbutz is literally on the Kinnert – the beach leads up to the kibbutz … totally beautiful!
